Karimeen (Pearl Spot) Mappas
Traditional Alleppey style mappas.
Steps

Into the left over oil after frying fish add the Whole spices.

Add the sliced onions, green chillies and curry leaves till soft. Add the tomato and cook till done.

Now add the coconut 2nd milk and wait till it boils. Add salt to taste and the half fried fish.

Let it to cook in simmer for 5 mins and then finish it with the 1st coconut milk.

Best to have with Appam, idiappam, puttu, porotta or even rice..
