Steps

Boil the pasta in water with one spoon of olive oil and salt. Once boiled, strain and keep it aside

Meanwhile, prepare the gravy. Peel and dice the garlic, onions, peppers and tomatoes.

Heat oil in a pan, add the garlic. Once the aroma starts coming, put in the cut onions.

To make the tomato puree, boil two tomatoes in the water and peel off the skin. Grind them in the mixer with few leaves of basil.

Add this puree and the cut tomatoes to the pinkish sauteed onions. Add salt and pepper to taste, chilli flakes, oregano, diced peppers to the gravy and cook for 5-10minutes.

Depending on the consistency of the gravy you want, half a cup water can be added to the gravy.

Add the diced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes and add the pasta.

Add the shredded cheese to the gravy.

Garnish hot with basil leaves and serve with garlic bread.
