Who said soya chunks are bland. They are delicious, if dressed in thick coconut milk. Imagine eating piping hot soy chunk masala in coconut milk with basmati rice along with raita and pappad on a rainy day. That what am doing right now. So here is the delicious recipe for soya chunks

First soak soya chunks in hot water for 20 minutes. Then drain and keep aside

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions.

When onions turn brown in colour add ginger and saute.

Then add chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and saute for one minute in low flame.

Add chopped tomatoes and tomato paste and saute for 5 minutes.

Then add Soya chunks and salt, mix thoroughly and cook for 5 minutes

Finally add thick coconut milk and cook for another 5 minutes

Sprinkle garam masala powder, Garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves and serve hot with basmathi rice with raita and pappad
