Outright delicious! Chicken and methi complement each other really well. The distinct flavor of fresh methi (fenugreek) enhances flavour to the chicken and gives a unique taste to the dish.

Wash methi leaves and keep aside. Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and curd for half an hour and keep aside. Then heat oil in a kadai and add onions. Saute till the colour changes and then add ginger garlic paste, tomato and salt.

Saute till tomato becomes soft. Then add the methi leaves and saute for 2 minutes, now add the marinated chicken and mix well. Close the lid and allow it to cook for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is done in medium flame. If you find it dry you can add half cup of water.

Once the chicken becomes tender and the curry becomes thick in consistency, add garam masala and mix well. Remove pan from the gas stove and serve hot with chappati or rice :)
