Radish is a root very popular in Maharashtra and Northern states. Used extensively in salads, dishes and pickles, it has got a very distinct pungeant taste. Repotedly says that it prevents cancer risk.

Radish is a root very popular in Maharashtra and Northern states. Used extensively in salads, dishes and pickles, it has got a very distinct pungeant taste. Repotedly says that it prevents cancer risk.
Steps

Cut the radish root into small pieces, and chop the leaves

Heat oil in a pan, add cummin seeds, onion and green chillies, saute for a while.

Add turmeric powder, mix well.

Cook over slow flame till done and ensure no water remains in the pan.

Add salt and tomatoe cubes and cook for 2-3 mnts without covering the pan.

When tomatoe is half cooked, put off the gas flame and bring down.

Serve with rice or chapati/roti
