Bye bye to knifes and chopping boards. Why use all that when you can use your magic kitchen scissors- easy recipe for lazy cooking.
Steps
- 1
Hold as much as french beans you can hold together in one hand and with a scissor cut length wise into half a finger size pieces. We don't need the edges.
- 2
Heat one teaspoon vegetable oil in a pan and splutter mustard and cumin seeds. Once the crackle, add in the crushed garlic cloves and when the color fades, add in the french beans with salt and pepper to your taste and a pinch of turmeric powder. Mix well.
- 3
Add a splash of water and cook with the lid closed on low flame for 5 minutes. Check if its done- the crunch should remain. Add in any more salt/pepper if required. Then add a teaspoon more of oil and saute it to get it slightly charred. Serve hot.
