  • 1300 gturnip. Peeled
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 2 tspsugar
  • 400 grice flour
  • Boiling water
  • 7Chinese mushrooms. Chopped
  • 400 gramsground beef
  • 1onion
  • 3eggs
  • 1 tbspcorn starch
  • 1 tbspsoy sauce

  • 1 (12 inch)cake pan. Greased
  • 400 gramsground beef
  • 1onion
  • 3eggs
  • 1 tbspcorn starch

Steps

  1. 1

    Grate the turnip

    Add 1 tsp salt and 2 tsp sugar. Mix.

    Add rice flour and 3 cups boiling water. Mix until uniform.

    Place empty cake pan on steamer.

    Pour the mix into the pan.

    Add enough boiling water water to fill the pan, leaving a spare 1/2 inch

    Steam for an hour and a half.

    Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the Chinese mushrooms, ground beef, onion, eggs, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, soy sauce and corn starch.

    After an hour and a half has passed (or when the cake has a jello consistency and turnip is cooked), spread the meat mixture on top of it and let it steam for 20 more minutes or until beef is done.

    In a bowl, mix the Chinese mushrooms, ground beef, onion, eggs, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, and corn starch.

Medium size turnip. Better if pan is sprayed with some grease. Five spice and salt could be added to the turnip, flouer and water mix.
