Stuffed Bell Peppers with Ground Pork

I once helped a Japanese friend make this dish at a party at their house. It was the first and only time I made it. Over ten years later, I suddenly saw beautiful yellow, orange, and red bell peppers packaged together on a supermarket shelf, which reminded me of that friend. So, I decided to try making it again.

Over ten years later, I suddenly saw beautiful yellow, orange, and red bell peppers packaged together on a supermarket shelf, which reminded me of that friend. So, I decided to try making it again.
Steps
- 1
Cut the bell peppers and remove all the seeds and inner parts (the red pepper is not yet hollowed out, the yellow one is hollowed out).
- 2
Put the ground pork in a bowl and marinate with soy sauce and black pepper.
- 3
Stuff the marinated ground pork into the bell peppers.

- 5
If you have a steamer, use it. I don't have one, so I put them in a bowl and steamed them using a pan with a lid instead.
- 6
Steam for about 10-15 minutes until the ground pork is cooked, then transfer to a plate. Be careful of the broth inside the bell peppers, as it might spill.
