Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 2 packagesfrozen chopped spinach (10 oz pkgs)
  2. 1/2 tspsalt
  3. 1/4 cuponion, chopped
  4. 6 tbspbutter. melted and divided
  5. 1 cupcheddar cheese, grated and divided
  6. 1 lbfresh mushrooms, sliced
  7. 1/4 tspgarlic powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook spinach according to package directions. Drain.

  2. 2

    Spoon into shallow casserole dish.

  3. 3

    Sprinkle spinach with salt, onion, 2 Tablespoons melted butter, and 1/4 cup grated cheese.

  4. 4

    Saute' mushrooms in 4 Tablespoons of butter, and then spoon mushrooms over the cheese layer.

  5. 5

    Sprinkle with garlic powder and top with 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.

  6. 6

    Bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 350°F oven.
