This recipe is my mum's kisuri! This is an authentic bengali dish made alot during Ramadan. It's a rice pudding like texture.

This recipe is my mum's kisuri! This is an authentic bengali dish made alot during Ramadan. It's a rice pudding like texture.
Steps

Mix your rice, water, onion and ginger.

Add in Bay leaf tumeric powder and cinnamon stick and salt.

Stir once and turn heat on medium and boil it. As it boils, it will then thicken alot like rice pudding.

After about 10 mins Cover with the lid (for about 20 mins)

After about an hour mix and cover again for another 10-15 mins

Now add more water and mix (1/2 cup) and let it simmer for 5 mins

After 5 mins add in your coriander

And Ghee!

Mix and Kisuri is now Finished!
