Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 500 gbeef mince
  2. 1small brown onion, peeled and diced
  3. 2 stalkscelery, diced
  4. 1green capsicum, diced
  5. 2 clovesgarlic, crushed
  6. 1 (700 g)jar tomato pasta sauce
  7. 2 (400 g)cans kidney beans, liquid reserved from one can
  8. 2 (400 g)cans cannellini beans, liquid reserved
  9. 2 teaspoonschilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspdried parsley
  11. 1 teaspoonsalt
  12. 3/4 teaspoondried basil
  13. 3/4 teaspoondried oregano
  14. 1/4 teaspoonground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook mince in a oiled large frying pan over high heat, stirring, until browned.

  2. 2

    Place the mince in a slow cooker and stir in remaining ingredients including bean liquids.

    Cover and cook, on low setting, for 8 hours.
