Ingredients

20 minutes
2servings
  • 2 cupcooked rice
  • 3tbsp.oil
  • 1 sprigcurry leaves
  • 2whole red chilli
  • 1tsp.asafoetida(hing)
  • 1tsp.musturd seeds
  • 1 spoonchana daal
  • 1 spoonurad daal(dhuli)
  • to tastesalt
  • 1/2 cup Tamarind pulp
  • 1tsp.chilli powder
  • 2peanuts

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil and add Curry leaves,whole red chilli, peanuts, asafoetida, mustard​ and both the daals.

    Saute till slightly colored.

  3. 3

    Add the rice n saute till well mixed.make the Tamarind pulp into 1 cup,with water and add to the rice.

    Add salt, chiili powder, bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 min and serve.

    Garnish with green coriander.
