Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°
- 2
Before cooking, roll each strip of bacon into a rose shape and secure in place with two toothpicks in an X through the center.
- 3
Line baking sheet with tin foil and a wire rack. Bake roses for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 4
While the roses are baking, take the bamboo skewers and wrap them in the florists tape. Make sure the pointed side is at the top.
- 5
Wrap some artificial leaves near the top of the pointed end of the skewer.
- 6
After the roses are cool enough to touch, remove the toothpicks (they should hold their shape) and top off the skewers with them.
- 7
Place finished skewers in a jar and present to dad as the manliest and most delicious bouquet he's ever seen in his life!
