Ingredients

  1. 10-12chicken pieces on bones
  2. handfulcoriander & mint leaves
  3. 1-2green chilies
  4. 1garlic clove
  5. 1/2 tsp.garam masala powder
  6. 1/2 tsp.roasted cumin powder
  7. 1 tsp.red chili flakes
  8. 1/4 tsp.baking soda
  9. to tastesalt
  10. 2 tbsp.roasted chickpea flour / besan (gram flour)
  11. 2 tbsp.rice flour
  12. 1egg, beaten
  13. 1 tbsp.lime juice
  14. oil to deep fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Make a paste with coriander leaves, mint leaves, garlic, green chilies and a pinch of salt.

    Rub this paste over the chicken, followed by rest of the ingredients (except oil). Marinate the chicken for 5-10 minutes.

    Heat oil in a pan and drop these chicken pieces gently, few at a time.

    Fry till light golden in colour on all sides on a low flame.

    Serve them hot with spiced yoghurt.
