In a pot, mix the powdered milk, water, semolina, and sugar together while cold.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the semolina absorbs the milk and the mixture thickens.

Pour the mixture into a serving dish.

When it cools slightly, spread the cream evenly on top. Refrigerate until fully chilled, then garnish as desired.

If you didn't add sugar to the mixture, serve with simple syrup. Enjoy!
