Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsemolina
  2. 1 1/2 cupspowdered milk
  3. 5 cupswater
  4. 1/4 cupsugar (optional; you can skip the sugar in the recipe and drizzle simple syrup on top when serving)
  5. 1 canprepared cream (such as table cream or clotted cream)
  6. Pistachios and orange blossom water for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pot, mix the powdered milk, water, semolina, and sugar together while cold.

  2. 2

    Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the semolina absorbs the milk and the mixture thickens.

  3. 3

    Pour the mixture into a serving dish.

    When it cools slightly, spread the cream evenly on top. Refrigerate until fully chilled, then garnish as desired.

  5. 5

    If you didn't add sugar to the mixture, serve with simple syrup. Enjoy!
