Slice the onion and sauté it in a large skillet with oil and a little black pepper.

Add the cleaned, dried, and chopped steak.

Cook over medium heat until the meat is fully cooked.

Add the soy sauce and bring to a boil.

Add the juice of two large limes.

Pour in the beer and stir gently.

Let it cook until the foam subsides.

Reduce the heat and simmer until the liquid reduces a bit and the meat is very tender.

Serve in tacos, sandwiches, or on its own with some broth and tostadas. The broth is delicious and perfect when you want something warm.
