Boil all the vegetables listed in a large pot.

Once fully cooked and slightly cooled, blend the vegetables with the cooking water, then strain through a sieve.

Return the mixture to low heat, add the spices, and stir well. Let it simmer until it thickens slightly. When it starts to boil, turn off the heat. Let it sit for five minutes, then serve.

Note: Turmeric is added for color. If you include carrots with the boiled vegetables, you can skip the turmeric, as carrots give a beautiful color.
