Ingredients

10 minutes
2-4 servings
  • 1 poundfrozen chopped spinach
  • 2 tablespoonsbutter
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 cupevaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoonsall purpose flour

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Microwave the spinach for 4 minutes on high

    Empty into the pot add butter and salt

  3. 3

    When butter is melted add flour

    Stir till the flour is no longer seen then add Milk

    Stir while cooking so milk doesn't scorch and let it thicken

    Turn off heat and let rest 5 minutes

Yes the flavors may change just a bit. I find that evaporated milk tends to lean towards the sweet side just a smidgen.
