Ingredients

  1. # For rice
  2. 300 gramBasmati rice
  3. 1 litreswater
  4. Salt
  5. 2 tbspbutter
  6. 1 tspoil
  7. 1bay leaf
  8. 2green cardamom
  9. 1black cardamom
  10. 1 inchcinnamon
  11. 8black pepper corn
  12. 4cloves
  13. #

  15. 3 tbspoil
  16. 2 tspghee
  17. 2no peeled potatoes
  18. 3green cardamoms
  19. 1black cardamom
  20. 4cloves
  21. 1 inchcinnamon stick
  22. 1bay leaf
  23. Marination of chicken
  24. 600 gmschicken
  25. Salt as required
  26. 1large onion (golden fry)
  27. 1/2 tspturmeric
  28. 1 tbspchilli pwd
  29. 1 cupdahi
  30. 1 tbspginger-garlic paste
  31. 1large onion (golden fry)
  32. 1/2 cupchopped tomatoes
  33. Water as required
  34. 2boiled eggs (optional)
  35. Garnish
  36. leavesMint

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a pan heat oil then some ghee and once it heats well, add garam masala and peeled potatoes and cook until the potatoes turn golden brown

  2. 2

    Marinate the chicken by adding yogurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, fried onions and tomatoes mix it nicely.

    Add the marinated chicken into the pan and mix it well, then add some water

  4. 4

    Cover it with a lid and cook on medium flame till its done

  5. 5

    In a pan add ghee and oil once it heats up add garam masala,lower the flame and add water and salt.

  6. 6

    Add the washed and soaked rice to the boiling water and let it cook on high flame. When it's 3/4th cooked drain the rice

  7. 7

    Place two boiled eggs and rice into the chicken and cover with lid on it and cook it on high flame for 8 minutes and low flame for 2 minutes

  8. 8

    Garnish it with fried onions, fresh mint and fresh onion.

    Our Chicken Biryani is ready to be served
