Ingredients

30 minutes
  1. 1 pound (450 grams)dried chickpeas
  2. 1-2onions
  3. 1-2garlic cloves
  4. parsley
  5. mint
  6. salt
  7. pepper
  8. 1little water
  9. 1little all-purpose flour
  10. 1 tablespoonbaking powder

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak the chickpeas overnight.

  2. 2

    Place all the ingredients except the flour and baking powder in a food processor and blend until you have a thick paste.

  3. 3

    Add the baking powder and enough flour so the mixture holds together on a spoon.

  4. 4

    Let the mixture rest for about an hour.

  5. 5

    Fry in hot oil.
