Ingredients

2 truly hungry people
  • 2/3of a package of spaghetti
  • 1small onion
  • 6 slicesbacon
  • 1small carton of heavy cream

10 Minutes
  1. 1

    Heat a wide pot with about 2 inches of water.

  2. 2

    Boil 1 1/2 liters (about 6 1/3 cups) of water in a kettle (we're in a hurry).

  3. 3

    Once it boils, pour it into the pot on the stove, salt it well, and add the pasta.

  4. 4

    In a wide, deep pan, add a little oil and the finely chopped onion to soften.

  5. 5

    Add the bacon and sauté until it gets a nice color.

  6. 6

    Stir the pasta occasionally to prevent sticking.

  7. 7

    Lower the heat on the pan and add the heavy cream.

  8. 8

    The pasta should be boiled for about 9-10 minutes; we don't want it overcooked, just al dente.

  9. 9

    Using tongs, transfer the pasta from the pot to the pan, keeping the water it holds.

  10. 10

    Increase the heat slightly and mix the pasta well in the sauce, so it thickens and "sticks" to the pasta.

  11. 11

    Serve hot and sprinkle with grated Parmesan and fresh pepper.

  12. 12

    Impress your guests by serving the pasta as if you're a chef from a renowned restaurant.

Θα έχετε δει πως σερβίρουν τα σπαγγέτι τυλιγμένα σε μακρόστενο ρόλο. Για να το πετύχετε θα χρειαστείτε μια μακριά τσιμπίδα και μια κουτάλα. Πιάστε αρκετή ποσότητα ζυμαρικών με την τσιμπίδα και με την βοήθεια μιας πλακέ κουτάλας τυλίξτε τα μακαρόνια σε ρόλο.
