Knead all the ingredients of the dough together until you have a soft dough that doesn't stick to your hands.

Set the dough aside covered with a towel for about 1 hour, allowing it to rise.

Take a small ball, about the size of a walnut and roll it out into a round thin filo sheet.

Place one tbsp of the filling and fold into a crescent shape. Press the edges to seal using a fork.

Pierce the top with the fork so that they rise evenly while frying.

Fry over moderate heat until golden brown.Place them on kitchen paper so that any excess oil is absorbed.
