Rice served with green grams and Ovacado

It's now 30 years and I still miss this beautiful moment with my grand mother. This meal would bring my grandpa home very early, infact he was the village talk. He would boast in the market how his wife was a good cook . Some of his friends would accompany him just to taste this delicious meal.....Am happy she taught me the art of clean, well prepared food. She always told me food should be handled with alot of hygiene. long live "Cucu".

Bring 2 glasd of water to boil

Make sure your rice is clean and washed with cold water.

Add some oil to the boiling water and some little grated ginger with salt.

Add your rice and cover for a while, reduce heat. Cover till ready.

Make sure your green grams are sorted. Wash with clean water and then soak for 15 min.

Bring to boil till ready.

Put the Onion in pan with hot oil till it turns brown. Add your carrots, hoho and congets at the same time.

Add crushed ginger and garlic. Stir a bit then add tomato and stir till ready.

Cover for some time, stir add water and Then the boiled grams.

Stir for 5 min, add your pepper and salt. let it simmer for 10min. Your food is ready.

Serve your food nicely. It's such a beautiful meal.
