Ingredients

4 servings
  1. Packagethin spaghetti
  2. 1/2an onion, chopped
  3. 3garlic cloves, minced
  4. 1carrot, chopped
  5. 3 tbspolive oil
  6. 1 cancrushed tomatoes
  7. 1 tspsugar
  8. 1 tspgarlic powder
  9. 1 tspsalt
  10. A fewturns of cracked pepper
  11. 2 tspparsley
  12. 2 tspbasil
  13. 1 lbhamburger meat
  14. 1bay leaf
  15. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese to top it

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large skillet, add olive oil, carrots, onion and garlic. Cook about 7 min until starts to soften.

  2. 2

    Add hamburger meat, break apart and cook til brown. Drain any grease

  3. 3

    Add crushed tomatoes, and all the spices, once boiling, turn heat to low and cover.

  4. 4

    Boil water for spaghetti and cook per directions on package.

  5. 5

    Once spaghetti is cooked, add about 1/2 cup of pasta water to sauce.

  6. 6

    Plate and add Parmesan cheese to top. And don't forget to remove the bay leaf! ;)
