Steps
- 1
Mix sugar, salt and 3 spoons of oil in a cup then add luke warm water.
- 2
Mix your flour in a bowl and set aside 1/2 cup wheat flour for dusting.
- 3
Add the water in the cup to the flour and mix well. Keep adding more warm water till you come up with a dough that is not sticky yet soft. Set it aside for 30 minutes.
- 4
Slice the dough in to hand size balls and lay them in a flat place and cover them with a towel.
- 5
Heat your thick pan, flatten your small sized balls into a flat round bread. Layer it on the pan and let it cook on both sides without oil. Repeat process for all the small sized doughs.
- 6
Start frying the chapati. Place the dried bread on pan, apply oil on one side, then turn it to fry. Apply oil on the other side and let it fry untill well browned.
- 7
Set them aside in a pan that keeps them warm. Enjoy with your favourite stew.
