Grease and flour baking pan or line with parchment paper and set aside.

Mix sugar and butter lightly. Add eggs, vanilla and milk. Mix flour and baking powder together and add along the chopped Basil Using a spatula to turn.

Pour into baking pan and bake for 20min at 170-180 c

Use toothpick to check. If it comes out clean cake is okay. Cool on a rack after allowing to stay for 10 mins in the pan and Slice
