ButterScotch Sauce

Butterscotch sauce is one of those sauces you wouldn't be content until you enhance it with your expertise. Buying it from a supermarket/shop doesn't do much justice to what you want in your recipe.
This is my take on making my own Butterscotch sauce without thinking how it would taste,because this recipe has always be miraculous.
Give it a try and you would never be disappointed.

Steps

Start with caramelizing sugar, Pour water in a sauce/frying pan, add sugar and let it cook on its own, do not stir.(flame should be on moderate).

Once you see sugar melting in the pan and changing color to golden brown,take the pan off heat.

Add butter to it and give it a stir with spatula/spoon.

Once sauce comes down to room temperature, Stir in the cream.

Add a pinch of salt if using unsalted butter and the sauce is ready to make fans.

It can be served with Pancakes, Waffles, Desserts, Crepes, Ice-creams, Puddings, Icing for cakes and cup-cakes and many more..
