In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine tea bags and water. Heat until simmering then remove from heat and steep for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile on a serving pitcher combine remaining ingredients except lemon-lime soda. When the tea is steeped remove tea bags, squeeze, pour into the pitcher and stir. Refrigerate until cold.

To serve, fill tall glasses with ice, fill glasses halfway with lemon-lime soda, then top with tea punch mixture.
