Wash the brinjals and Chop the brinjal into big chunks

Heat Oil in a non-stick pan add chopped onion fry them till golden brown, take out from pan and keep aside

Same pan add the whole garam masala (bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves).Add the ginger garlic paste and green chillies

Add tomatoes and fry for a minute.

Add chopped brinjal to this.Cover and let it sweat and cook with its own moisture.

Mix once in a while to avoid it sticking to the bottom

Once the brinjal is almost cooked and mashed upadd the fried onions and mix well.Add all the dry spices powders. (turmeric powder, chilly powder, cumin powder and coriander powder and salt)

Cover and cook for another 5-10 minutes until everything is nicely cooked.After this, remove the cover and let it continue to cook until the dish dries up and forms like keema

Now add frozen peas and mix well

Cook for a minute,Keep stiring while cooking to prevent sticking in pan,when its almost done add a 1 tsp lime juice

Now tossed with chopped curry leaves and its done to serve
