Wash the omena with warm water then put aside.

Add oil in the frying pan and heat to the maximum.

Add the omena and fry till golden brown while stirring. Add the onion and continue cooking till golden brown too.

Add the chopped tomatoes and salt.

Let the tomatoes soften to mix well with the omena.

Cool then cook ugali and serve
