Ingredients

  • 1 bowlOats
  • 1 bowlSprouts moong
  • 1/2 bowlChopped onion
  • 1/2 bowlChopped carrot
  • 1/2 bowlChopped beetroot
  • 1/2 bowlChopped french beans
  • 1/2 bowlBoiled mattar (peas)
  • 1 spoonGinger, garlic & green chilli paste
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededOil for tadka
  • 5-6Kurry patta (curry leaves)
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala

Steps

  1. 1

    First take oats and roast without oil like pink brown color

  2. 2

    Take a pressure cooker and add oil and add mustard and jeera let it crackles

  3. 3

    Add green chilli garlic and ginger paste and curry patta

  4. 4

    Then add all veggies and roast

  5. 5

    Then add all spices and salt and garam masala

  6. 6

    Then add sprouts moong and oats and 2 bowl water and cook for 3 whistle.

  7. 7

    Then cool the pressure cooker

  8. 8

    Open the cooker and serve khichdi

  9. 9

    Enjoy hot and healthy khichdi with buttermilk curd and papad
