Shortbread cut outs with piped icing and heart-shaped moulded chocolates

Vanilla cookies with lemon icing and sugarpaste flowers

Same idea but with piped vines/branches and sugarcraft blossoms

Breakfast idea - heart shaped pancakes using a mould served with mothers favourite topping

The same mould could be used for eggs as part of a cooked breakfast, or a heart shaped cookie cutter could be used on bread before toasting

This is a yearly event. I bake all my kids their own Valentine cookie. The pictured one is 8”, that size is for the “big” kids. I bake 6” cookies for the “little” kids (grands). Some like them plain, some like them with frosting. This one is/was mine. Of course, I let them choose the flavor: sugar cookie, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, molasses (new request this year)

My kids requested a birthday cake, so following their request, I finally came up with this type of cake. Since it's ice cream, it can be stored in the freezer for a good amount of time. It can be cut into individual slices so that it's easy to eat.Make sure you don't forget to make space in the freezer. You can freeze the cookie dough before or after shaping it, so use your time wisely and plan out when to make it. For 25 x 16 x 5cm [9.8 x 6.3 x 2.0 in] cake pan ~ cut into 20 pieces.
