Easy Cherry Almond Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupcherry pie filling (from a 21 ounce can)
  2. 1 tbspslivered almonds
  3. 1(24 ounce) can Pillsbury Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls With Icing

Cooking Instructions

    Preaheat oven to 375°F.

  2. 2

    Spray 9 inch round cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  3. 3

    Separate dough into 8 rolls.

  4. 4

    Cut each roll into 4 pieces; place pieces round side down in sprayed pan.

  5. 5

    Spoon pie filling over rolls.

  6. 6

    Sprinkle with almonds.

  7. 7

    Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until deep golden brown.

    Cool 3 minutes.

    Invert onto cutting board or plate; invert again onto serving plate.

  10. 10

    Remove lid from icing container.

  11. 11

    Microwave on high for 3 to 7 seconds.

  12. 12

    Stir icing; drizzle desired amount of icing over warm coffee cake.

  13. 13

    Serve warm.

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old.
