Ingredients

15 mins
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cuppacked brown sugar
  • 1/2 cupsoft butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cupshortning
  • 1egg
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 1 1/2 cupflour
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tspsalt(optinal)
  • 1/2 bagof 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1/2 bagof 12 oz of m&ms

Steps

  1. 1

    heat oven to 350.mix sugars,margarine,shortening,egg and vanilla.stir in remaining ingredients

  2. 2

    drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.bake until light Brown,8-10 min. cool slightly before taking from cookie sheet .yield about 3 1/2 dozen
