Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupsugar
  2. 1/2 cuppacked brown sugar
  3. 1/2 cupsoft butter or margarine
  4. 1/2 cupshortning
  5. 1egg
  6. 1 tspvanilla
  7. 1 1/2 cupflour
  8. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  9. 1/2 tspsalt(optinal)
  10. 1/2 bagof 12 oz chocolate chips
  11. 1/2 bagof 12 oz of m&ms

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    heat oven to 350.mix sugars,margarine,shortening,egg and vanilla.stir in remaining ingredients

  2. 2

    drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.bake until light Brown,8-10 min. cool slightly before taking from cookie sheet .yield about 3 1/2 dozen
