Ingredients

  1. 1 mediumto large racoon
  2. 1 packagesof dried onion soup mix
  3. 2 largeonions, sliced
  4. 1 canof tomatoes, copped
  5. 1salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    skin and clean racoon, then cut into pieces.

  2. 2

    clean out scent glands and remove all fat.

  3. 3

    place racoon in large pot and cover with water.

  4. 4

    add salt and pepper and cook until half cooked.

  5. 5

    when half cooked, remove from pot and drain and save the stock.

  6. 6

    place racoon in roasting pan and pour stock in pan until racoon is half covered.

  7. 7

    sprinkle racoon with onion soup mix, salt and pepper, sliced onions, and chopped tomatoes.

  8. 8

    cover and cook at 325°until done. approx. one hour.

  9. 9

    baste a couple of times while cooking

I live in Portland Oregon, i love the outdoors and hunting is my passion. I used to collect wine, but no more. I own one business, down from 3. I enjoy gardening and plants.
