Marmalade came from the portuguese but different people came with their modified recipies of different kinds.I saw an Orange marmalade from Alton but i advanced it by liquidising my mixture.

Steps

Wash clean the Oranges in running water and cut the edges of the Orange.

Cut the Oranges into quarters.

Then cut thinly the orange quarters and put them in a saucepan.

Add water and press down to extract juice.

Bring the product to heat and cook them for about 30min until the orange peels are tender.

Cool the product and cover it to rest overnight
- 7
The next day liquidise the mixture and bring the mixture to heat, add the sugar and cook till thick and a syrup is formed.

Transfer the mixture product into a clean tin.

Cool the mixture in water to release steam.

Now after it cools cover/seal tightly and the product is ready for human consumption.
