Make your caramel sauce: mix water and sugar in a cooking pot. Stir and let it boil. Add the vanilla extract, stirring continously, for about 2-3 minutes.

Add the banana. Let it boil. Cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes over low heat. Cool. Refrigerate, if desired.

You can serve this with ice and milk, condensed or evaporated, if you want!
