Ingredients

10 - 15 mins
2 servings
  • 1 cupSabudana - 1 cup (Soak sabudana overnight or 5 - 6 hrs)
  • 2Boiled and chopped potatoes - (medium size)
  • 1/2 cupRoasted and crushed peanuts -
  • 1 tspChopped green chillies -
  • 1 tspJeera -
  • to tasteRock salt
  • 1 tspPepper powder -
  • 1/2 tspSugar -
  • 1 tspLemon juice -
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

Steps

10 - 15 mins
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a wok and put jeera.....when crackle put green chillies.

  2. 2

    Then add boiled and chopped potatoes and fry little and add salt, pepper powder, sugar and lemon juice.

    Stir for a minute and add soaked saboodana and mix well. Then add roasted crushed peanuts and mix it then cover and cook for 2 -3 mins or till saboodana turns soft.

    Take Idli steamer....grease idli plate and fill saboodana mixture in it. Steam for 5 mins till crystal white. Once done take out in serving tray /dish.

    Then finally put coriander leaves and garnish as per your choice.

    Serve hot with yogurt or peanut chutney.
