Ingredients

  1. 12 cupsapples peeled and sliced (4 pounds)
  2. 2 tablespoonslemon juice squeezed over apple slices
  3. 1 teaspooncinnamon
  4. 3 tablespoonsflour
  5. 3/4 cupsugar
  6. Topping
  7. 1 3/4 cupflour
  8. 1 cupoatmeal
  9. 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  10. 1/4 cupsugar
  11. 1/2 teaspooncinnamon
  12. 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  13. 16 tablespoonsbutter (2 sticks)

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon together. Put in 9x13 buttered glass dish.

  2. 2

    Topping
    Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon and salt with fingers. Then mix in softened butter with fingers. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees for 50 minutes.
