Ingredients

  1. 1 boxWhite cake mix
  2. 1 3/4 cupRoot Beer Soda (divided)
  3. 2Eggs
  4. 1/4 cupCanola oil
  5. 1 envelopeWhipped topping mix (Dream Whip)

Steps

  1. 1

    Pre heat oven to 350

  2. 2

    In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil and 1 1/4 cups cold Root Beer Soda

  3. 3

    Mix for 2 minutes on low speed until well blended

  4. 4

    Fill cupcake liners in a cupcake tin with batter, 3/4 full

  5. 5

    Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

  6. 6

    In another bowl, mix Dream Whip and 1/2 cup Root Beer. Mix until creamy.

  7. 7

    Let cupcakes cool and top with topping.

  8. 8

    Enjoy!

These were easy and pretty good, but I was hoping for a stronger root beer flavor! I wonder if you threw in a couple drops of root beer extract if it would turn out more like I was expecting. Still good though, and super easy to make!
