Steps

Heat water until boiling, add fusilli, cook until al dente. Remove water/strain.

While waiting pasta done, in different pan, heat butter. Saute garlic and onion until caramelized

Add shrimp, then add asparagus. Cook a while until shrimp turn orange.

Add milk, cheddar cheese. Stir. Then add cream cheese. Stir well until thick and creamy. Add salt and pepper. Add basil.

Heat cooked pasta. Pour creamy sauce into cooked pasta.

Stir well. Remove from heat. Sprinkle shredded cheddar on top, ready to serve.
