In a large pot, add the ghee, ground beef, and onion. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the beef is cooked through and the liquid has evaporated. Add the salt and mixed spices.

Rinse the lentils well and add them to the pot with the cooked beef.

Add the boiling water and chicken bouillon cubes.

Add the oats and stir. Cover the pot and let it simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the lentils are cooked and the soup thickens slightly.

Add the finely grated carrots and let the soup cook for an additional 10 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
