Sweet Bun

I used to have this when I was young and going to coffee shops having this bun sandwich with strip of butter and 2 half boiled eggs to dip in and a cup of hot black coffee for breakfast. That's why I've been making testing one after another and finally got the recipe I wanted
Sweet Bun
I used to have this when I was young and going to coffee shops having this bun sandwich with strip of butter and 2 half boiled eggs to dip in and a cup of hot black coffee for breakfast. That's why I've been making testing one after another and finally got the recipe I wanted
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put all ingredients except the butter and water into a bread mixer
- 2
You should take a bit of the dough out and try to stretch it like a thin cloth where it should look smooth and if it not stretchable meaning your bread dough is not ready and continue to mix until is ready
- 3
Mixer turn on at low speed and slowly adding water to mix to form a dough and after about 5 min. and a rough dough had been form turning speed to high to mix until the bread dough is ready. It should take around 15-20min, it also depending on your type of mixer using.
- 4
Remove the bread dough from mixer and let it rest for 5 - 10 min (1st proofing) and cover with a plastic or cloth
- 5
Weight the bread dough to your choice as I want it slightly bigger so I took 65gm for my bun and mould into round shape and put to baking tray and let it proof for 2nd time (final proofing)
- 6
Once bread dough final proofing is ready turn on your oven, and while waiting for oven to reach it temperature brush egg wash onto the top of the bread dough and put to baking.
- 7
Don't forget to share your comment. For those who love soft & sweet bun. Happy baking.

Subtly Sweet and Fluffy Apple Buns Subtly Sweet and Fluffy Apple Buns
I created this recipe because I wanted to make a not so sweet but light and delicious bread. I've repeatedly cooked this recipe every year in apple season since then.Adding brandy, rum, cinnamon, and butter to the apple will also be tasty. The apple doesn't have to turn translucent. I prefer a dark yellow apple color.Pears and pineapples instead of apple will be good as well. Recipe by Honey1972 cookpad.japan -

Tangzhong Pai Bao (Hongkong Sweet Buns) Tangzhong Pai Bao (Hongkong Sweet Buns)
“Pai Bao” is a kind of Asian sweet buns, arranged and baked in long rows. Maxim’s Bakery Pai Bao in Hongkong has rich eggy and milky flavours, super soft and fluffy.Tangzhong (also known as a 'water roux') is a method used in breadmaking to create soft and fluffy bread which was originated by the Japanese. However, it was popularised throughout south-east Asia in the 1990s by a Chinese woman called Yvonne Chen who wrote a book called The 65° Bread Doctor. Using this method also allows bread to stay fresh for longer without needing to use artificial preservatives.Resources from Christine blog. Lavender -

Easter Sweet Buns (“Pan quemao” o “masa de mona”) Easter Sweet Buns (“Pan quemao” o “masa de mona”)
Part of Spain has already started the Easter holidays, and the other part will begin them this coming Thursday. In Spain, most of us are Christians and we celebrate this religious holiday. In my area, the Valencian Community, it’s typical to prepare “monas de Pascua” and “pan quemaos”. They take a bit of work because the dough has to rise, but the result is so worth it!!I love the flavor they have, and of course, they include orange!! 🍊#springfeast Chus Molinero -

My mother used to make this for me whenever we had sweet potatoes. My kids love these and they are easy, especially since you make them ready-to-use pancake mix. I always make them whenever we get sweet potatoes.Microwave the sweet potato and work through Steps 3 and 4 while the water boils, and they'll be done in no time! The steamed bread is topped with unpeeled and unmixed sweet potatoes, so it has a pretty colour.
