Ingredients

90 minutes
about 25 cookies
  1. 120 gbutter, softened
  2. 80 gpowdered sugar
  3. 1unit egg yolk
  4. 190 gflour
  5. 10 gMatcha Green tea powder (We used Cook Matcha & Chlorella Matcha**)

Steps

90 minutes
  1. 1

    With an electic mixer at medium speed, cream the butter.

    Add the powdered sugar to the butter and continue beating until the mixture becomes yellowish white.

    Add egg yolk and mix at lower speed.

    Add sifted flour and Matcha powder and mix all with a rubber spatula.

    The dough is unifying little by little.

    When the dough is unified,

    Cut (pushing out) the dough into pieces with spatula. (look at our video: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk-ztmVnJIR/?taken-by=thematchahouse)

    Repeat this work (cut the dough with stapula) several times. This work is very important!

  9. 9

    Roll the dough into a thick log and wrap the log with the plastic wrap and chill it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  10. 10

    Remove the dough from the refrigerator and cut it into 2cm think each.

    Bake them for 20 minutes at 170ºC.
