Don't bother knocking on your melon it does nothing. The best way to pick out a winner is to look for the darkest greenest skin of the melon. The smaller the sun spot the better. The sun spot is the white yellowish color on the melon it means that out in the field it didn't get rotated enough an didn't see the sun as much....
