Steps
- 1
Just like grandma used to make! Cut off most of the chicken from the bone (as much as you can)
- 2
Put a saucepan of water on the hob and add the chicken with the remaining bones to it
- 3
While this is coming to boil, chop the garlic, spring onion, ginger, chilli and parsley roughly and add this
- 4
Season with salt, pepper and mixed herbs, and a dash of olive oil
- 5
Bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes so the chicken cooks through
- 6
Serve without the bones.
- 7
You're done! This is jam packed full of the sort of nutrition your body needs to see you through a cold, with an added kick with the chilli to help fight illness!
- 8
Get well soon!
