In a bowl add maida, oil, and add water to make a stiff dough.

Cover and keep dough and give rest for 10 mins.

Kneed the dough and divide into 4, take one part and keep rest aside.

Make a round of one part, roll out in big round around half inch thickness.

Cut into cylindrical shape, do same with other dough as well.

Heat a pan, add oil, heat until it's warm, add batch by batch petha and fry till it's done.

Let cool down petha

Heat a wok, add Jaggery, sugar and 100g of water and boil till it melts and get little thick. (ek tar ki chasni)

Add petha to sweet syrup, and keep mixing till sugar syrup cools down completely.

Keep in air tight container and this sweet petha can be enjoy more than a month.

Tip: Petha can be prepared in only jaggery or only in sugar as well. It's totally your choice.
