  1. 5 lboxtails
  2. 2 tbsplemon or lime juice
  3. 2 packagessazon
  4. 3 tbspoxtail seasoning
  5. 1 tbspbrowning
  6. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  7. 2 largeonions
  8. 1 largegreen pepper
  9. 1 largetomatoe
  10. 2 tbspcanola oil
  11. 3 stickthyme
  12. 1 cloveginger
  13. 2 clovescallions
  14. 1 cantomatoe sauce
  15. 1 dashtomatoe paste
  16. 2 tspbrown sugar
  17. 1 dashsalt
  18. 1 dashblack pepper
  19. 1 smallred sweet pepper
  20. 1 dashTabasco sauce
  21. 3 stickcarrots
  22. 3 smallpotatoes

Steps

    Stir all ingredients into oxtails

  2. 2

    Let it marinate overnight.

  3. 3

    Separate oxtails from ingredients

  4. 4

    Add canola oil to frying pan

  5. 5

    Cook oxtails on each side for 10 mins

  6. 6

    Transfer oxtails, oil, and the rest of the ingredients to slow cooker

  7. 7

    Put slow cooker on high

  8. 8

    Add just enough water to cover meat or halfway

  9. 9

    Cut up potatoes and carrots

  10. 10

    Put top on slow cooker-let it cook for 6 hours

  11. 11

    Add potatoes and carrots-cook for 1 hour

  12. 12

    Add butter beans (optional)

  13. 13

    Stir and serve
